I like my crepes on the thicker side. Add a bit more water to make them thinner if you want
I never buy milk but fake milks or a mix of cream and water all work well. Watery milks like skim work with these ratios, so you can water down full-fat milks.
Fake milks have wildly different sugar contents so some may not be suitable for a breakfast dish you're also probably going to cover with sugar. I try to use as close to zero-sugar milk as possible, and definitely don't add any extra to the batter.
You can use melted butter or margarine or coconut oil instead. I use vegetable oil because it's essentially margarine and I don't like the taste of butter.
